Muktiranjan Roy, Prime Suspect in Bengaluru Murder, Found Dead in Suspected Suicide

Muktiranjan Pratap Roy, the prime suspect in the murder of a Bengaluru woman named Mahalakshmi, was found dead in Odisha. His body was discovered hanging from a tree in the Dhusuri police station limits of Bhadrak district. Roy, who was accused of killing Mahalakshmi and dismembering her body into 59 pieces, had been traced by the Bengaluru police near the Odisha-West Bengal border. The police had been searching for him in Odisha for the past three days. His death is suspected to be a suicide. The identification of the prime accused was confirmed by Parameshwara, and Roy was originally from West Bengal.
