A massive explosion occurred at the Chase Bank building in downtown Youngstown, Ohio, on Tuesday afternoon at 2:45 p.m. The explosion, believed to be caused by a gas leak, resulted in extensive damage to the 13-story building and multiple injuries. Seven victims were taken to Mercy Health Hospital, with one person in critical condition. Two individuals remain unaccounted for. Emergency crews, including firefighters, police, and medical personnel, responded quickly to the scene. An evacuation order has been issued for the surrounding area. The explosion reportedly blew out the bottom floor of the building. Authorities continue to search for people trapped under the rubble.
