Tesla China to Recall 5,836 Vehicles Due to Seat Occupancy Issue Starting in July
Jun 14, 2024, 08:33 AM
Tesla China will recall 5,836 Model 3, Model S, and Model X vehicles due to an abnormal seat occupancy function. The recall affects imported cars, and Tesla will attempt to resolve the issue through over-the-air (OTA) updates. If the problem cannot be fixed via OTA updates, Tesla will offer free support to owners. The recall was announced by China's market regulator, citing safety concerns, and the fixes will begin in July.
