Oct 15, 2024, 02:20 AM
Donald Trump’s decentralized finance project, World Liberty Financial (WLF), has launched its token sale on October 15, 2024. The sale is open to accredited investors in the U.S. and non-U.S. persons who sign up for a whitelist. The project has garnered significant interest, with over 100,000 investors whitelisted ahead of the launch. Former Paxos CEO Rich Teo has joined the project as the stablecoin and payment lead. Within the first hour of the presale, WLF raised $5 million, although the website experienced intermittent downtime. The project aims to raise $540 million and is eyeing a $1.5 billion valuation post-raise. The token, known as WLFI, is headed by Zachary Folkman and Chase Herro, who previously worked on Dough Finance.
