Sep 11, 2024, 07:33 AM
Russian forces have launched a significant counteroffensive in the Kursk region, reclaiming territory from Ukrainian troops. The offensive, which began yesterday, has resulted in the recapture of approximately 125 square kilometers and 8 villages, including Borki. The Russian military has also captured six Ukrainian soldiers from the 810th Brigade of the Black Sea Fleet. Pro-Moscow sources report that the Russians have regained control over more than 10 settlements, with the main offensive occurring in the western part of the region. The village of Pogrebki remains under Ukrainian control, and the Russians have retaken about 10 sq km of territory. The situation remains fluid, and the coming days will determine the extent of this development.
