Oct 9, 2024, 07:55 AM
Overnight, Ukrainian forces successfully struck Russia's 67th GRAU Arsenal, a significant ammunition depot located in Karachev, Bryansk region. The depot, covering an area of approximately 3.5 square kilometers, was targeted by a swarm of Ukrainian drones. The attack resulted in continuous detonations and secondary explosions, indicating extensive damage. The facility stored various munitions, including artillery shells, anti-air missiles, MLRS rockets, and guided aerial bombs, with some supplies reportedly originating from North Korea. The strike has led to a state of emergency in the area, and despite claims that 12 drones were shot down, the situation remains critical. The depot is located 120 km from Ukraine and is the fourth ammo depot out of 23 large arsenals in the European part of Russia that Ukraine has struck in the last month.
