Trump Flips Key Counties, Wins Nevada and Inland Empire in 2024 Election
Nov 9, 2024, 01:44 PM
In the 2024 U.S. Presidential Election, Donald Trump has achieved significant victories, flipping several traditionally blue counties in California and winning Nevada, marking the first Republican win in the state since 2004. Trump also turned Osceola County in Florida, a predominantly Puerto Rican area, red. In Philadelphia, Trump saw increased support, particularly in Hispanic areas, while Kamala Harris's gains were mainly in white educated areas. Trump secured 142,000 votes in Philadelphia, up from 133,000 in 2020 and 109,000 in 2016. Harris received 554,000 votes, compared to Biden's 604,000 in 2020 and Clinton's 584,000 in 2016. Trump is also winning the Inland Empire, the first Republican to do so since 2004. Trump's campaign is expected to accept federal assistance with the transition process.
