Hezbollah Attacks Tel Aviv and Ashdod Base with Advanced Rockets and Drone Swarm
Nov 24, 2024, 10:27 AM
Hezbollah has escalated its military operations against Israel, announcing a series of attacks on Israeli military installations over the past few days. On November 22, 2024, the group targeted the Haifa Technical Base in northern Israel with "Nasr 2" missiles, which are guided versions of the Syrian M-302/Khaibar-1 surface-to-surface missiles, releasing footage of the attack. Subsequently, Hezbollah unveiled video evidence of strikes against the Israeli Shraga base, located between Nahariya and Acre, using missiles and drones. The organization also reported targeting the settlement of Elite Hashahar in northern Israel with rockets. In a significant development, Hezbollah declared on November 24 that it launched, for the first time, a drone attack using a swarm of one-way attack drones on the Ashdod naval base in southern Israel, striking 150 kilometers inside Israeli territory and confirming direct hits. Additionally, the group announced it had conducted a complex operation against a military facility in Tel Aviv, including the Palmahim Air Base south of the city, employing advanced rockets and a swarm of attack drones. Hezbollah claims that these operations successfully achieved their objectives.
