This collective resignation was tendered to Acting President Choi Sang-mok on New Year's Day, following his appointment of two new justices to the Constitutional Court, which is set to decide Yoon's fate. The aides' decision comes amid a political crisis, with Yoon facing allegations of leading an insurrection and a recent court approval for his arrest.
