A tragic helicopter crash involving the Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) in the Sindar area of West Pokot resulted in the deaths of five individuals, including Captain Hillary Litali and Chief of Defence Forces General Francis Ogolla. The incident occurred when the helicopter caught fire, leading to five fatalities and three survivors. The remains of the victims were transported to Nairobi as families and the nation mourn.
