Long Island Cop and Teacher Indicted for Running Brothels for Four Years
Oct 16, 2024, 12:15 PM
A Suffolk County police officer and a public school teacher were among four individuals indicted in connection with a prostitution ring that operated brothels in Holbrook and West Babylon, Long Island. George F. Trimigliozzi, an 18-year veteran of the Suffolk County Police Department, and the teacher, who was also recognized as 'Cop of the Month,' were charged with running brothels and managing sex workers. Authorities described the incident as a 'shocking betrayal of public trust.' The brothels had been operational for about four years. New York Governor Kathy Hochul has deployed state troopers to assist in the investigation.
