Reasi Terror Attack: 10 Killed, 33 Injured in Pilgrim Bus Ambush in Jammu & Kashmir

A terror attack on a pilgrim bus in Reasi, Jammu & Kashmir, resulted in the death of 10 individuals on the spot, with 33 others injured. The bus fell into a gorge after being ambushed by terrorists who continued firing even after the fall. Bullet shell was recovered from the spot. Rescue operations, involving locals, the Indian Army, and various police forces, provided first aid to the injured. Among the injured, 18 are from Uttar Pradesh and Delhi. An ex-gratia of Rs. 10 lakh will be given to the next of kin of those killed, and Rs. 50,000 to the injured. The injured are being treated at hospitals in Jammu and Reasi. The Lieutenant Governor of Jammu & Kashmir, Manoj Sinha, visited the injured at the Jammu Government Medical College. Condemnations have come from various political leaders, including Manipur CM N Biren Singh and Arunachal Pradesh Governor Kaiwalya Trivikram Parnaik. Former Jammu & Kashmir Deputy CM Kavinder Gupta also condemned the attack. A search operation is ongoing to apprehend the terrorists involved.
