Dec 15, 2024, 05:35 AM
In Nagoya, Japan, the discovery of an unexploded American bomb, measuring approximately 115 centimeters in length and 36 centimeters in diameter, prompted the evacuation of over 3,700 residents. The bomb, believed to have been dropped during World War II, was found by construction workers during the demolition of a former vocational school. As a precaution, roads were closed and subway services were temporarily suspended while personnel from the Japan Self-Defense Force safely defused and removed the device. The operation was completed successfully, allowing for the resumption of normal transportation services in the area.
