Swedish PM Kristersson: Sweden Closes Investigation into Nord Stream Explosions
Jul 13, 2024, 03:52 PM
Swedish investigators have closed the investigation into the explosions at the Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 gas pipelines that occurred in September 2022. Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson announced that the investigation did not establish who may be charged in connection with the incident. Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova commented on the decision, describing it as an international conspiracy to cover up a terrorist attack and attributing it to legal apathy.
