JAXA's Second Successful H3 Rocket Launch Carries Daichi-4 Satellite Smoothly

The Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) successfully launched the third H3 rocket, carrying the 2990 kg Daichi-4 L-band radar imaging satellite, also known as ALOS 4. The launch took place at 0306 UTC on July 1 from Tanegashima Space Center. The rocket successfully reached orbit, and the ALOS-4 satellite has separated as planned.
