Chinese Archaeologists Unearth Largest Neolithic Jade Dragon from Hongshan Culture in Chifeng

Chinese archaeologists have made significant discoveries related to the Neolithic Hongshan culture in North China. An archaeological team from the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology unearthed over 100 jade artifacts in Aohan Banner, Chifeng city. Among these findings is the largest jade dragon ever discovered from the Hongshan culture, found at a stone tomb site in Chifeng. This discovery marks the first instance of identifying a burial and sacrificial site.
