Controversial Mountain Valley Pipeline Seeks Approval to Begin Operations

The Mountain Valley Pipeline (MVP) project, a natural gas pipeline system spanning approximately 303 miles from northwestern West Virginia to southern Virginia, is seeking regulatory approval to begin operations. The controversial project, which sources natural gas from Marcellus and Utica shale production, has been completed and is now awaiting authorization from federal regulators to be in service by June 11.
