FedEx Commits $25M Over 5 Years in Major NIL Deal with Memphis

FedEx has announced a significant Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) deal with the University of Memphis, committing $5 million annually for the next five years. This funding will support NIL activities for student-athletes in football, men's and women's basketball, and other women's sports. The partnership, facilitated by Altius Sports Partners, allows athletes to earn NIL by engaging in initiatives from FedEx, which is headquartered in Memphis. University of Memphis Athletic Director Laird Veatch highlighted the deal's impact, noting the 'tremendous momentum' it brings to the university's athletics.
