Nick Saban, the former head coach of Alabama football, has been selected for induction into the College Football Hall of Fame as part of the 2025 class. The announcement was made during ESPN's College GameDay broadcast on January 10, 2025, exactly one year after Saban announced his retirement. Saban, a seven-time national champion who won six titles with Alabama and one with LSU, expressed his gratitude for the honor, stating, 'I was happy to drive the bus, but we had some great people on it.' He is the first member of the 2025 class to be announced and will be officially inducted during the 67th NFF Annual Awards Dinner on December 9, 2025, at the Bellagio Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.
