Two Russian oil tankers, Volgoneft-212 and Volgoneft-239, have been severely damaged by a storm in the Kerch Strait and are reportedly sinking. The vessels, each carrying approximately 4,300 tons of fuel oil, were breached by waves up to seven meters high and broke apart. An oil spill has been reported in the area.
