A mass shooting in Towson, Maryland, resulted in one person dead and nine others injured on Tuesday evening. The incident occurred around 7:15 p.m. on the 8500 block of Loch Raven Boulevard, where police responded to reports of multiple gunshots around 7:12 p.m. Upon arrival, officers discovered a vehicle overturned and on fire near the Johnson-Fosbrink Funeral and Cremation Services. The shooting is believed to be targeted, with no ongoing threat to the public, according to Baltimore County Police Chief Robert McCullough. Over a dozen shots were heard, and the car had flipped. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) Baltimore and the Baltimore County Fire Department are assisting in the investigation. The conditions of the injured victims remain unknown, and the incident is still under investigation.
