Oracle CEO Larry Ellison announced at a White House event that artificial intelligence (AI) will revolutionize cancer treatment by enabling early detection and the rapid development of personalized mRNA vaccines. Ellison explained that AI can detect cancer through blood tests, gene sequence tumors, and design vaccines tailored to individual patients. These vaccines can be produced robotically within 48 hours. The announcement was part of discussions surrounding the Stargate Project, a $500 billion initiative involving Oracle, OpenAI, and SoftBank to build AI-powered data centers. The project, which includes contributions from SoftBank CEO Masayoshi Son and OpenAI CEO Sam Altman, aims to enhance healthcare innovation and create over 100,000 jobs in the United States. The first data centers are already under construction in Texas.
