Jan 4, 2025, 04:23 PM
A trio of robbers has been involved in a spree of ATM thefts across New York City, targeting nearly 50 stores in a three-month period from September 19 to December 26, 2024. The group, consisting of two men and a getaway driver, stole ATMs and tens of thousands of dollars from locations in the Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens, and upper Manhattan. The robbers used stolen vehicles as getaway cars and were captured on surveillance footage removing an ATM from a Queens grocery store on December 23. The New York City Police Department (NYPD) is seeking public assistance to identify the suspects involved in these 49 incidents across four boroughs, with no arrests made to date.
