Trump to Appoint Sean Curran, Head of Personal Detail, as New Secret Service Director After Assassination Attempt

Curran, who has been the head of Trump's personal security detail, was notably involved in protecting Trump during an assassination attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania. He has been a vocal advocate for enhancing Trump's security measures prior to the incident. Curran has been with Trump since his first term and continued to lead his security team post-presidency. He supervises about 85 agents and is expected to replace Ron Rowe, who has been serving as the acting director since July following the resignation of Kimberly Cheatle.
