Ewers went 21-5 as a starter over the past two seasons, leading the Longhorns to two College Football Playoff appearances and helping secure their first conference title since 2009. He recorded significant victories, including road wins at Michigan and Alabama, and achieved two of the biggest blowout wins in Texas-Oklahoma history. Ewers leaves tied for fourth all-time in wins by a starting quarterback with 27.
