Marilyn Manson Won't Face Charges After Four-Year Sexual Assault Investigation, Statute of Limitations Cited
Jan 24, 2025, 08:17 PM
Marilyn Manson will not face criminal charges in Los Angeles following a years-long investigation into allegations of sexual assault and domestic violence, the Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan Hochman announced today. Prosecutors cited insufficient evidence and the statute of limitations as reasons for not pursuing charges against the rock musician. The investigation, which spanned four years, involved multiple allegations made by more than a dozen women. Manson, whose real name is Brian Warner, was accused of sexual assault and abuse by several former partners. Despite the extensive investigation, the DA's office concluded that the allegations could not be substantiated beyond reasonable doubt and that some of the incidents fell outside the legal time frame for prosecution under the statute of limitations.
