The donation, which will be disbursed in two installments, is intended to support the zoo's wildlife adoption initiative and help build a new enclosure for Moo Deng, a five-month-old pygmy hippo that Buterin adopted for two years. Buterin had previously visited Moo Deng in November. Additionally, he has pledged 88 ETH for wildlife conservation efforts, further emphasizing his commitment to animal welfare.
