Blake Lively Sues Justin Baldoni for Sexual Harassment, Alleges Smear Campaign; WME Drops Baldoni
Dec 24, 2024, 07:15 PM
Blake Lively has filed a sexual harassment lawsuit against Justin Baldoni, her co-star and director in the film 'It Ends With Us.' Lively alleges that Baldoni engaged in sexual harassment during the filming and subsequently orchestrated a smear campaign against her. The lawsuit claims that Baldoni's actions created a hostile work environment, including showing nude videos and images of women, discussing his alleged pornography addiction, and making inappropriate comments about Lively's weight. Following the lawsuit, Lively has received support from various Hollywood figures, including Amber Heard, who criticized the use of social media in smear campaigns. Baldoni's lawyer, Bryan Freedman, has denied the allegations, calling them 'completely false, outrageous and intentionally salacious.' As a result of the lawsuit, WME has dropped Baldoni as a client, while Lively remains represented by the agency. The fallout from the lawsuit has also seen Baldoni lose his 'Voices of Solidarity Award' from Vital Voices and part ways with his podcast partner.
