Canada is deploying 60 firefighters to assist in combating wildfires in Southern California. This decision was confirmed by Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, who stated that the deployment is part of Canada's support for the ongoing firefighting efforts in the region. In addition to the firefighters, at least four Canadair CL-415 'Super Scooper' aerial firefighting aircraft from the Province of Québec are also being sent to aid in the efforts. The wildfires have been affecting areas around Los Angeles, prompting international assistance.
