Anatel Launches 300 Mbps 5G Nationwide in Brazil on December 2, 2024

The National Telecommunications Agency (Anatel) has announced that 5G standalone technology, offering high-speed internet of up to 300 Mbps, is now available across all 5,570 municipalities in Brazil as of December 2, 2024. The rollout marks a significant technological milestone, as 5G is five times faster than 4G. While the technology is accessible nationwide, its immediate activation in each locality depends on the schedules of individual mobile operators.
