Rookie quarterback Bo Nix made an impressive and poised debut in his first NFL playoff game, leading the Denver Broncos to an early 7-0 lead against the Buffalo Bills. On the opening drive, Nix connected with rookie wide receiver Troy Franklin on a 43-yard touchdown pass, throwing while under pressure. The pass, which traveled 53 yards in the air, marked the first playoff touchdown by a rookie quarterback-receiver duo since at least 2000. The touchdown was also the third deepest completion allowed by the Bills this season.
