Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, 82, fell in the Senate reception room after a GOP lunch on Capitol Hill and received medical attention for a facial injury, according to multiple reports. McConnell was seen with a cut on the left side of his face after the fall. He was able to walk back to his office on his own, where medical personnel, including EMTs and DC Fire/Rescue, evaluated him. Senator John Thune told reporters, "He is fine. He's in his office."
