Uber Technologies Inc. has entered into a collaboration with Nvidia Corp. to accelerate the development of autonomous mobility. The partnership aims to expedite the advancement of self-driving vehicles through the utilization of Nvidia's AI platforms. Uber's CEO, Dara Khosrowshahi, stated that 'Generative AI will drive the future of mobility, which requires both rich data and very powerful computing.' Uber's stock rose by 2.5% in premarket trading following the announcement of this collaboration. Nvidia's shares also saw a 2.5% increase premarket, attributed to the unveiling of new products at CES 2025.
