Jan 6, 2025, 08:02 PM
Four-time Indianapolis 500 champion Helio Castroneves is set to make his NASCAR debut in the upcoming Daytona 500, driving for Trackhouse Racing's Project 91 program. The Brazilian racing legend will pilot the No. 91 Chevrolet, sponsored by Wendy's, with Darian Grubb as his crew chief. Castroneves will join Trackhouse's full-time drivers Ross Chastain, Daniel Suarez, and Shane van Gisbergen in the race. His participation is not guaranteed as the No. 91 car is an open entry, requiring him to qualify for one of the four available spots in the 40-car field.
