Earl Holliman, an iron-jawed actor known for his roles in a corral full of Westerns, the first episode of 'The Twilight Zone', and a prominent run on the 1970s series 'Police Woman', has passed away at the age of 96. Holliman's death was confirmed by his husband, Craig Curtis, who is his only survivor. His career spanned decades, earning him a Golden Globe for 'Best Supporting Actor' for his role as Jim Curry in 'The Rainmaker'. Beyond acting, Holliman was also recognized for his activism in animal rights, his singing, and his role as the honorary chairman of Toys for Tots.
