Jeff Baena, a screenwriter and director known for off-beat comedies such as 'Life After Beth,' 'The Little Hours,' and 'Spin Me Round,' has died at the age of 47. Baena, who was married to actress Aubrey Plaza since 2021, was found dead at his Los Angeles home on Friday, January 3. Law enforcement sources have indicated that his death is being treated as a suicide. Emergency services were called to the residence around 10:30 a.m., and he was pronounced dead at the scene. Baena co-wrote 'I Heart Huckabees' and directed several indie films.
