Movement's $MOVE Token Soars 4,000% to $1 After Binance, Coinbase Listings

On December 9, 2024, Movement Labs' $MOVE token debuted on major cryptocurrency exchanges, including Binance, Coinbase, Upbit, OKX, Bybit, and KuCoin. The token, which powers Movement's Ethereum Layer 2 solution supporting MoveVM and EVM transactions, experienced a substantial surge in its initial trading, with prices increasing over 4,000% after listing to nearly $1. Trading volumes surpassed $6 billion, reflecting significant investor interest and pushing the Fully Diluted Valuation to approximately $7.5 billion. Binance facilitated an airdrop of $MOVE tokens to users who subscribed their BNB to Simple Earn products, distributing 2% of the token supply. Early testnet participants received up to $500 in airdropped tokens. The launch comes alongside Movement's Mainnet Beta release, marking a milestone for the project.
