Sirens sounded in multiple areas across central Israel early Sunday morning due to a missile launch from Yemen, as announced by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). The missile, identified as a Long-Range Ballistic Missile, was reportedly launched by Iran-backed Houthi terrorists, targeting central Israel. Alerts were triggered in regions including Shfelat Yehuda, Shfela, and around Jerusalem, affecting approximately 5,700 people. This incident marks a significant escalation in the ongoing regional tensions, with the Houthis, known for their support from Iran, extending their reach to threaten Israel directly.
