Lockheed Martin Tests F-35 Data Sharing with UK RAF NEXUS Combat Cloud
Dec 5, 2024, 07:50 AM
Lockheed Martin has successfully conducted the first-ever interoperability test of the F-35 fighter jet's classified data-sharing capabilities with a non-US command and control system. Under Project DEIMOS, the F-35 shared data with the UK's Royal Air Force (RAF) Rapid Capabilities Office in Farnborough, using the RAF's NEXUS combat cloud via satellite. This marks a significant milestone in multidomain operations and demonstrates enhanced collaboration between the US and UK military forces.
