Ukrainian Drone Strike Kills Izvestia Correspondent Alexander Martemyanov, Injures Four on Donetsk Highway

Alexander Martemyanov, a freelance correspondent for the Russian newspaper Izvestia, was killed in a Ukrainian drone strike on a civilian vehicle on the Donetsk-Gorlovka highway in the Donetsk People's Republic. The attack also injured four other journalists, including one from RIA Novosti. The incident occurred as the journalists were returning to Donetsk after covering the aftermath of shelling in Gorlovka. The United Nations has condemned the attack, stating its opposition to any attacks on journalists.
