Trump Unveils $500B 'Stargate,' Largest AI Project with OpenAI, SoftBank, Oracle, NVIDIA; 100,000 Jobs

President Donald Trump announced the largest AI infrastructure project in history, unveiling a $500 billion investment initiative called 'Stargate' to build artificial intelligence infrastructure in the United States. The joint venture, involving OpenAI, SoftBank, Oracle, NVIDIA, and Arm, plans to invest $100 billion immediately, with commitments to increase funding up to $500 billion over the next four years. The project aims to construct colossal data centers, beginning with a facility in Texas, and is expected to create over 100,000 jobs immediately. SoftBank CEO Masayoshi Son, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman, and Oracle Chairman Larry Ellison joined President Trump at the White House to unveil the initiative.
