Richard Cohen, an Emmy- and Peabody-winning journalist and the husband of former 'Today' show anchor Meredith Vieira, has died at the age of 76 after a decades-long battle with multiple sclerosis. Cohen, who was diagnosed with the disease at age 25, passed away on December 24. He had also survived colon cancer twice during his lifetime. Cohen and Vieira were married for 38 years. He held senior producer roles at CBS News and CNN, earning three Emmy Awards for his work.
