Apollo Global Management Inc., an asset management firm with $730 billion in assets under management, has launched a tokenized private credit fund in collaboration with Securitize, a firm backed by BlackRock. The Apollo Diversified Credit Securitize Fund, known as ACRED, offers investors access to a portion of Apollo's Diversified Credit Fund, which manages over $1.2 billion in assets. The fund, which delivered an 11.7% return in 2024, is available across six blockchains: Ethereum, Solana, Ink, Aptos, Avalanche, and Polygon. This move marks the first public on-chain offering for accredited investors by Apollo and is the first integration for Securitize with the Solana and Ink blockchains. The initiative aims to provide a higher yielding complement to stablecoins, tokenized treasuries, and money market funds, while also diversifying the on-chain investment portfolio.
