Tulsa Hires 35-Year-Old Tre Lamb from ETSU as New Head Football Coach
Dec 8, 2024, 11:25 PM
Tulsa has hired Tre Lamb, the 35-year-old head coach from East Tennessee State University (ETSU), as their next head football coach. Lamb, who previously coached at FCS Gardner-Webb with a record of 20-20 over four seasons and led the team to back-to-back FCS playoff appearances in 2022-23, turned around ETSU to a 7-5 record in his first year there from a 3-8 record. His appointment makes him one of the youngest head coaches in the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) and the 32nd head coach in Tulsa's history. Lamb has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Tulsa to take over the Golden Hurricane program.
