Stephen A. Smith, a prominent sports personality at ESPN, is reportedly close to signing a new six-year, $120 million contract with the network. This deal would not only extend his tenure at ESPN but also potentially grant him access to other parts of Disney's entertainment portfolio, including opportunities for 'first-look' projects across Disney's general-entertainment properties. However, when asked about the deal, Smith responded with skepticism, stating, 'I was born AT NIGHT, not last night. I don’t talk about my contract negotiations. Never have. Never will.'
