NATO is developing plans for its first-ever fleet of unmanned naval vehicles aimed at safeguarding critical undersea infrastructure in the Baltic and Mediterranean Seas. This initiative comes in response to a series of incidents involving damage to undersea cables in European waters. The drones will be utilized for both surface and underwater surveillance, leveraging unmanned surface vehicles (USVs) to enhance security.
