The Kremlin announced that Russian President Vladimir Putin is prepared to meet with U.S. President-elect Donald Trump without preconditions. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated that Russia welcomes Trump's desire to solve problems through dialogue but emphasized that such a meeting would require political will from the United States. Peskov noted that no requests for contact have yet been received from the incoming U.S. administration. Putin has expressed openness to communication with Trump, and both leaders are assumed to be ready to meet.
