Bryce James, LeBron's Youngest Son, Commits to Arizona Wildcats
Jan 1, 2025, 07:01 PM
Bryce James, the 17-year-old youngest son of NBA star LeBron James, has committed to play basketball at the University of Arizona. He announced his decision on social media on January 1st, joining Arizona's 2025 recruiting class. Bryce, a 6-foot-6 wing player, visited Arizona for the Duke game and was impressed with head coach Tommy Lloyd's patience and ability to develop players. In the Nike EYBL Peach Jam this past July, he averaged 5.6 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 1.0 blocks per game, playing 22.2 minutes per game and shooting 18% from three-point range. Observers have noted that he "can space the floor with his shooting ability," and that "his growth spurt and athleticism change his game," describing him as a "very smart basketball player." The James family visited nearly every Pac-12 campus but were most impressed with Arizona.
