Imran Khan and Wife Sentenced to 14 and 7 Years in £190 Million Al-Qadir Trust Case

A Pakistani accountability court has sentenced former Prime Minister Imran Khan to 14 years in prison and fined him PKR 1 million after finding him guilty of corrupt practices in the £190 million Al-Qadir Trust case. His wife, Bushra Bibi, was also convicted and sentenced to 7 years in prison with a fine of PKR 0.5 million. The verdict was announced on Friday at the court session held at Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi, where Bushra Bibi was arrested immediately after the ruling. The case involves allegations of misusing funds and authority related to the Al-Qadir Trust.
