An international coalition, co-led by the UK and Latvia, has secured contracts worth £45 million to deliver 30,000 FPV drones to Ukraine. The announcement was made by UK Defence Secretary John Healey and Latvian Defence Minister Andris Sprūds at the 25th Ramstein meeting of the Ukraine Defence Contact Group at Ramstein Air Base. The drones, funded by the UK, Denmark, Netherlands, Latvia, and Sweden, and valued at $55 million, are designed to help Ukraine counter Russian aggression by bypassing air defenses to target enemy positions and armored vehicles.
